VSA's new office in the heart of Brussels has got off to a flying start and is looking for a summer intern for the month of September. The summer internship covers criminal law and human rights and offers the opportunity to get a taste of the daily life of our experienced criminal lawyers. As an intern in our team, you will be responsible for quality legal searches, the study and summarisation of criminal cases and the preparation of written submissions. You will also have the opportunity, together with our lawyers, to attend (public) hearings and client contacts, and you will be involved in our internal team meetings and knowledge-sharing moments.

We are looking for:

An outstanding law student (starting in 1st or 2nd master) with a passion for criminal justice and human rights;

Excellent legal and communication skills and a proactive and inquisitive attitude;

Dutch-speaking, with a good knowledge of French and English.
The summer internship will take place in the month of September (exact duration to be agreed), is full-time and unpaid.
