Since January 2024, Mr. Vanheulenberghe has been working at VS Advocaten, where he specializes in corporate and sports law. He is known for his broad legal knowledge and no-nonsense approach.
Mr. Vanheulenberghe obtained his Master of Laws from Ghent University (cum laude) in June 2022, focusing primarily on corporate and financial law. During his studies, he completed the “International Business Negotiations” course (summa cum laude) under the guidance of Professor Kenneth Frankel from American University (Washington D.C.).
Immediately after his studies, Mr. Vanheulenberghe gained experience as a legal intern at football club K. Beerschot V.A., where his passion for sports law emerged. In 2023, he moved to Madrid to pursue an LL.M. in International Sports Law at ISDE Law & Business School. During this period, he also completed an internship at the sports law firm Ruiz-Huerta & Crespo in Valencia.
In January 2024, Mr. Vanheulenberghe joined the team at VS Advocaten, focusing on both corporate and sports law. His analytical approach and in-depth expertise make him a valuable asset to the firm.
