Océane Dieu

Mr. Dieu obtained their Master’s degree in Law from Ghent University in 2021 with the highest distinction (summa cum laude) and won the award for best thesis, presented by the Coordination Unit for Threat Analysis (OCAD), for their master’s thesis on cybercrime and terrorism. They decided to further specialize in these two areas by pursuing an additional master’s degree in the United Kingdom. After obtaining this second master’s degree, Mr. Dieu started their bar internship at the Brussels office of Stibbe, where they joined the corporate criminal law team.

In June 2024, Mr. Dieu transitioned to VS Advocaten, where they can further develop their knowledge of corporate criminal law, their passion for cybercrime, and their commitment to human rights. Their eagerness to learn about the cyber domain also led them to continue their studies in 2024 by pursuing a master’s degree in Cybersecurity Management at Solvay Business School.
