Thibault Verschuere graduated with a Master of Laws degree from KU Leuven, specializing in Civil Law (2017–2023). During an internship in the legal department of Club Brugge, he discovered his passion for Sports Law, which led him to pursue a Master in International Sports Law at ISDE in Madrid (2023–2024). He then spent eight months as a trainee at the sports law firm 14 Sports Law in Porto.
After a previous internship at VS Advocaten in June 2025, where he gained experience in both corporate law cases and sports law matters (Powerplay), Thibault looked back very positively on this experience. He now joins the firm as a trainee lawyer, applying his expertise to optimally support clients in both domains.
Ambition, professionalism, and an open mindset define his approach. Thibault attaches great importance to building a strong relationship of trust with clients and tackles every challenge with a competitive spirit.
