Sofie Mombaerts graduated in law from KU Leuven in 2013. She then took a specialised advanced master’s in corporate law. While she was still studying, Sofie Mombaerts was already helping startups with the legal aspects of doing business.
Sofie Mombaerts started her career in 2014 as a lawyer at the Kortrijk Bar, and built up solid experience in business law, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, advising both national and international clients.
She has published various articles on business law.
In 2018 Sofie Mombaerts joined the Ghent Bar and since then she has been part of the Van Steenbrugge Advocaten team where she focuses on corporate law transactions and agreements.
